Nick took a class this year called Visual & Performing Arts. As part of the course they had to make some pottery. The pictures show the piece and a close-up of the top. You can see it was designed to be a small bank or coin holder. Nick's was selected to be in a show at one of the neighboring colleges. Because his piece was selected, he got to spend a day at the college and choose a class to take from a couple of different classes and experience college. The course he chose was Book Making. This is the book he made that day.

The art show was judged and Nick's pottery received a note of special recognition. Nick enjoyed the whole experience very much!
